Travel back to 1986 and meet Arkanoid for the first time, one of the classic arcade games that could be found in many an amusement hall and is still maintains its popularity today. As with most classic games, Arkanoid is very simple in concept. The player is equipped with a 'vaus' (don't ask, okay ask but don't expect a sensible answer!) and the aim is to clear formations of coloured blocks by deflecting a ball towards them without letting the ball leave the bottom edge of the playing area. Remove all of the coloured blocks successfully to progress to the next level while collecting bonus points.
