Classic Pacman Game
Pacman first hit our imaginations way back in May 1980 and the little yellow, pie-shaped Pacman character who travels around a maze trying gobble up all the yellow dots while avoiding hunting ghosts, quickly became an a classic. The game is simplicity in itself, eat up the yellow dots and avoid being eaten yourself by the ghosts who are out to get you. One encounter and you're dead, well ish. Okay, a bit of Pacman trivia for you. The 'Pac' part of Pacman comes from the Japanese 'paku paku' which literally means 'gobbling something up'. Unfortunately, when the name was translated into American English, the 'Pac' became 'Puck' and it didn't take long for Americam youths to daub graffiti on arcades misspelling 'Puck'. You can work out the rest yourself but soon after the name changed from Puckman to Pacman to save blushes!
