Classic Mahjong Game
Mahjong is a tile based strategy puzzle game that was developed by the Chinese in the nineteenth century and over the following years has become popular throughout the world, some believing it is now the world's most popular board game. It requires observation and memory with the word Mahjong meaning "little sparrows". It's believed that it was so named as that is the noise the tiles make when they're shuffled. To play this classic Mahjong game, click on any of the "free" tiles (those that are on the edge) to select them, and match them with other free tiles to score. You can only use tiles with at least one free side. There are also special Mahjong pieces whereby you can match any flower tile and any season tile, but you can't match a flower tile with a season tile. Your aim is to complete the Mahjong game before time runs out but, if you get stuck, click on the sparrow for a hint. |
