Pilgrim Settlers Game

The first pilgrim settlers on the Mayflower from England arrived in America in late December 1620. The group consisted of around 100 people, many of whom were seeking religious freedom in the New World and formed the first permanent settlement of Europeans in New England at Plymouth Harbor that year. The relationship between the Pilgrims and Native Americans was initially based on trade and a shared dedication to spirituality with the Native Americans providing skins, hides, food, knowledge, and other crucial materials and supplies, while the settlers traded beads and other types of currency in exchange for these goods. However, soon disease and other conflicts led to a deteriorated relationship and, eventually, the First Indian War.
